Is that cheating? My Day 6 outtake is a cheat. It rained last night and I decided to check out the raindrops instead of dewdrops
Great, now I want a donut.Day 6 alternate

Yea. I said I would use the 20, not the 14-160, for this thread. Is that cheating?
My other option from this morning. Across the road from where my picture for the day was taken, and about 20 minutes earlier.

Hi Antonio, I wonder what it would have been like with just a very slight increase in the detail in the deep shadowed areas, it would have been something I would have tried.

Happened to me a few days ago. I'll be happy if I have a few of those days in the whole challenge. And it makes the meh-days easier to bear .I had an SIJ day today which is very rare - so many acceptable images, I had a hard time deciding which to post. Would be great if evry day this month is like this.
Intriguing. I just use the Guided transform all the time in Lightroom, it allows perfectly horizontal and vertical lines where I want them. I took the liberty of applying a guided transform to your picture, like so. Not completely sure about the horizontal correction but that's how I'd do it anyway. And yes, I like the picture!Day 7 outtakes: The first was a hot contender - but somehow, it seems impossible to straighten the lines without distorting everything else.

Panny 20mm f1.7 yet again proving it stacks up against the best lenses. I liked the look and feel of this image before I even saw the exif. These outtakes are great! Today, I got a helmet image, but after my book club, I saw this on the way back to the car. And since I was carrying the selected gear....View attachment 200903
Your Hot Contender is worth going back to for tomorrow's image. Elegantly composed.Day 7 outtakes: The first was a hot contender - but somehow, it seems impossible to straighten the lines without distorting everything else.

Day 4... Not really an outtake, as I wasn't intending to take any fireworks photos (would have brought something other than the GR for that), but proves the GR is pretty capable of even heavy cropping from a not-ideal location and a slow handheld shutter speed:

Thanks a lot - but unfortunately, it'll have to wait; I'm out of town for few days - subject matter will have to change. But I agree, I'll try this again - the puddle isn't always there, though.Your Hot Contender is worth going back to for tomorrow's image. Elegantly composed.
