Sorry Kevin, do you mean allow sharing here or on Flickr? I can see the BB code on Flickr. To paste it here I selected code, changed the language to Rich BB code, pasted in the BB code, it said that it was attached but when I followed the link it said that the page was not found.
Quite possible I’m being thick - which means stupid!
Karen, you just do too much! The CODE tags you activate ...
... aren't needed at all - on the contrary, they prevent the code from working entirely correctly because they lead to the code being displayed instead of interpreted. Just copy and paste the BB code from Flickr, don't change anything here.
Here's what happens if you use the CODE tags (in plain code):
Code:

Here's what happens if you use the CODE tags the way you do (from the menu):
And here's what's supposed to happen (just directly pasted into the message window!):

EDIT: Well, this seems to have worked - and I don't allow others to share my images, either ...
I actually think Flickr's original code is awfully inelegant, but that's due to the fact that BB code does actually fail to add line feeds after closing tags (or rather, the engine of this forum doesn't add any) - that's actually "good style" (link tags don't cause line feeds), but for the average user without any idea about HTML and the like, it's a nuisance.
As an aside, I also find it irritating that I can't seem to do anything about Flickr's use of German in the automatically generated message - I mean, I could fix it easily, but it's really quite annoying that I can *set* it. EDIT: I actually *found* a way to change the language setting - it's not in the Settings page proper, it's on its bottom. Wonderfully unintuitive place to put it, but at least it's there.
btw. Kevin, the CODE tags don't work entirely properly because its closing tag can't be displayed using it but gets interpreted instead; I don't know if it's something you can fix, but it'd be an awful lot easier to explain what I mean if I could do it using plain BB code.
EDIT: Yes, I know the message looks pretty convoluted - but I guess that's what happens if you explain code in a non-optimised environment (especially non-optimised code, like Flickr's BB code ...).
