GAS GAS: Please Share your Latest Acquisitions Big and Small

I got Canon EF to Fuji Lens Turbo II and I'm very satisfied with it. Opted for the EF variant as it accepts most other types - I'm using my M42 and Yashica lenses on it via additional simple thin dumb adapters. But not Minolta, sadly, so those our out on Fuji for now; I either have to buy a dumb MD to Fuji adapter or another speedbooster (which I don't plan for now).

Today I received an Irix 15mm F2.4 Firefly in Nikon mount.
No rationale except it was $220 minty used and I had just picked up a Nikon to Fuji LTii.
Pretty slim logic even for me.
It looks beastly with a 95mm frisbee front cap and a really cool looking barrel design.
Took a few snaps with it, images look very good. Contrast is nice, distortion is pretty well controlled.
Pretty dang sharp. Even into the sides with the LTii. Can't wait to see what it looks like/does on a FF Nikon body. ; )

My latest larger acquisition.
2008 Sequoia 4x4. Just added the TRD pro grille.

Those Sequoyas are nice big boys! They have a lot of the look and feel of the pricey modern Land Cruisers. I myself am getting hugely tempted by the rumored Ford Maverick pickup, finally a truly small pickup from the automaker that made the Ranger back when the Ranger was actually small. The sub-20k price is the most interesting part. I don't drive a pickup but I've long felt like a truly small and cheap one with decent gas mileage would be the way to go.

Instead of buying a Panasonic 12-35mm f2.8 mft lens, I bought a nice used LX100 mkII to celebrate finishing some gruelling training for my work. If that's not in the spirit of the original "Serious Compacts" forum, I don't know what is 😀

Nice. I gave a lot of thought to getting an LX100II, but I really don't care for PZ lenses. If it had a manual zoom like the X30, I'd likely already own one.

That Maverick looks pretty cool. And it has independent rear suspension. Ride should be nice.
Wish Toyota would adopt that concept. I've owned three trucks before they became Tacomas and really liked them. Now Tacomas are beasts and pricey.

The Sequoia is a platinum edition so interior trim is pretty nice. A little dated now but very roomy and uber comfortable. Wish I was a passenger. Gas mileage? Uhhh. No.

The redeeming feature of the power zoom on the LX100II is the step zoom, where you can set the camera to toggle between common focal lengths instead of responding to exact input on the zoom lever. I hate power zooms but this feature totally changed my mind, it ends up not feeling like one at all.

Feature this ......... just received a brand new Fuji XC15-45 lens. This is a backup to my "old" XC15-45!
These are so good (optically speaking) that I just had to have another, just in case. ;)
BTW - a quick comparison at 15 & 45 shows imperceptable difference.
Also, when compared to my XF10-24, when set at 15mm it equals 13.8mm on the 10-24.

I have the 20mm, bought second hand in January, but havent really put it through the ringer yet. I got the PL15 mm about the same time so I have been working a bit with that and dont think I will be purchasing the 14mm even though I came close this week, as one surfaced for a reasonable price on the secondhand market here.....
I have the 14mm, 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm (PLv1). The 14mm and 20mm are my "really small bag" kit with my Pen F. I actually bought a thinner lens cap for the 20mm so the combo would fit in my National Geographic NG 1153.

A manual zoom LX100 with the on/off tied to the lens like the X#0 series would be GREAT.

Some goodies arrived as 'payment' for camera repair/service rendered for a friend.
Two....dodgy cameras:
One Kiev-88 that's been through the wringer, but appears to work. The Volna 3 lens will need some cleaning as the aperture is hesitant

The other was this Franka Rolfix that had a stuck shutter and the aperture wasn't round. (I seriously HATE fixing aperture blades)

But, it's back together now. And it actually works!
