If there's a film I am fast friends with, it's HP5. We have the same interests, we were brought up properly and treat each other with mutual respect and admiration. We have been through some interesting times, and I've always felt that HP5 picks up the slack when I make a misstep. HP5 is a cool friend, straddling the line between classic and modern, coolly collected and always ready to indulge my taste for history.
That preamble out of the way, here are some shots metered at ISO 800 and pushed one stop in Tmax developer at 1+4. I've successfully pushed HP5 with Rodinal before, so I knew that would work, and figured I would give Tmax a shot. Not at all bad. At the end of the day, Rodinal is usually cheaper so I will probably stick to it for this film, but Tmax certainly doesn't hurt.
