That's a good setup for sure! I love the blue burst as well. I had a great ASAT in blue burst, but at the time I had 3 US teles, was modding some Classic Vibes, and my 66 Mustang. Unless another PRS heads my way (still wanting a Paul's Guitar, 513, and a few others), the Tele PD will likely be...
Teles are my #2 favorite platform for making noise. I grew up loving the SAS PRS models I could play at Sam Ash, but never felt the need to try to get one. I just thought they were unobtainable. I went years playing Fenders and Gibsons all over the spectrum, and recently just decided "F it!'. I...

It’s not too bad these days. I’ve got a new office downtown just off GT campus, and one over in OFW. Great spots for street stuff when the weather permits.
New office on the other side of downtown, and not hating my new commute all that much. Definitely can't wait to get out with the Fuji when I get more time.
Depending on how much you like the adapted setup, the cheap Canon 50mm STM runs great on my A7II as well. Took it out to a lantern parade and shot wide open up to 12800 with the shots being pretty amazing for the ISO.
I run my 17-40mm L on my A7II all the time and love it. Normally I just run the 85mm on it, but I always have a few Canon lenses with me since I sold off my Canon bodies. You should love it!
Ran out to Savannah over the weekend with the x100f. Was hoping to get more shots walking around downtown, but some horrible bronchitis shut me down causing an urgent care visit. Had a good time, but wishing I wasn't under the weather.
It's hard when deals come up and everything sounds enticing. I was all Fuji for years, then went back to Canon FF and loaded up on a few lenses. Then I was getting fed up with my Canon stuff and wanted to stick to a FF setup I would be happy with. I went the same route and hopped on the Sony...
Years ago someone said to me, "Hey Casey, check out the x1002 from Fuji." Well, that turned into me owning an x100s, then an xt-1, then an x100t, then an x100 and now...finally...the x100f. During the years with Fuji, I was also shooting Canon FF stuff, but honestly falling out of love with it...
Agreed. The high contrast b&w definitely has its place. I feel like others often give shining examples of it, while I’m not quite hitting that same bar. I love the standard b&w with maxed out contrast and stick to that most often. One recent thing I’ve been doing is running the Clarity setting...
Love it!
Out of curiosity, was that in camera b&w settings used, or more on the post processing side?
The high contrast in camera sometimes stays a little too gritty for me even at base ISO. I tend to use the regular black and white in camera more often, with the contrast maxed out.
