I'm late to this party, just got an X100 and am getting it set up. Pretty much there but can't seem to find a way to turn off the yellow slow shutter speed warning icon in the finder. Just seeing the shutter speed in the finder is all I need to know. Is there a way to turn off that warning icon...

Thanks. I've been researching this all day and it looks like you are correct, there is no way to disable the button.
I don't see any significant advantage to even having the button as a quick turn of the mode dial can allow movies. Sony, please let me disable it.
The C3 body is sold but the 16mm/2.8 lens is available. It's had very little use, is in like-new condition, includes front and rear caps. I believe this pancake is the smallest in the Nex line. $265 obo, free USPS Priority Mail shipping, PayPal fees covered.
Sony Black Body Nex-C3, 16mm/2.8 kit, mint condition, with box and all original accessories. The C3 is the sleeper in the Nex line. It has the same 16MP sensor/image quality as the Nex-5n but at a fraction of the price. If you can live without a touchscreen (hate them myself), the clip-on EVF...
I have a shelf-full of lenses and have decided to sell the ones I'm not using. This one is the m4/3 Leica DG Macro 45mm/2.8 with Mega OIS. I have used this lens only once in the year since I have owned it and it is in mint condition. With all accessories which include both front and rear lens...
Another thing that gets camera used is their being with you when needed. Like on the end of your keyring.
I agree with a previous comment that said in their ads Pentax should be sure to include a familiar object that would give a sense of scale. The keyring is a great one.
"I find myself warming to the concept" is what I'm now feeling too. My first feelings pretty much dismissed it and felt Pentax made a mistake. Tiny sensor, pricey and not that much of a size advantage over my Pen.
But now I'm beginning to see the appeal and a potential market. It might...
I sold the lens to a m4/3 forum member. Now $245 for the G1 body, in box with OEM accessories for $245, CON USA USPS Priority Mail included.
Panasonic AC Adapter, extra battery, battery charger with car adapter also still available.
For sale or trade, my very clean, very low use Lumix G1 with 14-45 lens kit. I got this as a backup camera for my E-P2 and it has mostly sat unused since I purchased it around 6 months ago. I shot a couple of 4GB cards worth of pictures with it when I first received it, 624 exposures. In box...
