My Location USA
Like new condition ND 2 Peak set in 52mm. ND8, ND64 and ND1000. Also a Breakthrough Photography MRC4 nanotec CPL. No boxes. Does include Gobe stacking caps and will...
A couple of 300WS lights.
A simple corded Godox MS300.
A not so simple AD300.
Not much to say about the AC unit except it's a nice cheap lightweight workhorse.
The AD300 however is quite a surprise. If not for the nice used price I don't think I would've tried it.
The balance of power and...
It's a gray Wescott 9x10 wrinkle resistant.
Basically a large fleece sheet. Has a rod holder on top and I use small clamps to stretch the sides.
Works pretty good in keeping wrinkling and reflections to a minimum.
I drop a digital backdrop in post and use the overlay/soft light...
The Barlow looks amazing. I love patina in brass and all other things, micarta, and the shape.
I think you've posted some of your collection in the past. I'll have to look back.
I have a few slip joint folders. One is a cheap A.G. Russell patterned after a Case Sodbuster(I...
Returned the CIVIVI Exarch. It's my second attempt at a front flipper knife.
I thought the first one was a knife "design" issue.
After the second, I realized it's a John's thumb issue.
Keeping the 85F1.8s. No issues there.
A new awesomely designed lens and a new focal length.
Sounds like the perfect storm.
Can't wait to see what you think.
On a personal note, I've always enjoyed using the 18 F2 more than the 16 2.8 and 16 1.4.
At least part of that had to do with the focal length.
The difference in market price between the Z5 and Z6 is very close even with the added $ of XQD and readers. I chose the Z5 for it's dual slots and that the other differences didn't weigh against my shooting needs.
I just received the 24-70F4 and I think it's going to do very well for me. The...
Adorama has Z5 refurbs for $899 or $1099 with 24-50.
Not many used Z5s. There's one at FM for $925.
No native choices yet for either.
The 24-70F4 is nice. Mine arrived today.
I have a 35mm F1.8G I use with the FTZ. It's not compact but it's not heavy.
Very good results imo. Same with the 85G.
The PM1 was a blast. I started with 14, 20 and 45. Couldn't even comprehend the size/output ratio at first.
My D700 era was golden. My kids were growing. The gear was amazing. It was a really great time with a ton of memories.
I really liked the PEN 12s too. PM1 was my gateway into ML.
And the differences. I remember thinking whoever designed the PL1 was a much different person than the P1 but once in hand and looking at the files it didn't matter.
You should try the D3 if just for a short while.
Good morning all.
CPC #46 Vintage is now closed.
@emerson Nice angle and image. It's one of the first vintage things I think of. It instantly made me crave for more, which I did. Well done.
@donlaw I love your model/subjects expression and posture. Also the lovely smooth gradations and tones...
Could my gear vagabond days be over?
I grow weary of the buy/sell and running a light, ditch on a dime system.
It's fun and ultra flexible but a lot of work.
The Z5 is not perfect but all my things considered it comes pretty close.
It adds a sense of familiarity(Nikon dslrs from 2005-2011). I...
