This lens is stupid good. For me, loving the 50mm equiv FOV, it's pretty much end-game. No GAS for nifty 50s, just because of this lens.

LX100 mk1 (with the auto-cap). If I knew about this camera, before I bought into m43 or Fuji, I would have had so much more money😅. It's perfect for my needs. AF is blazingly fast. And it looks great.

Everytime I look at the Fuji x70 or xf10 or gr3. I am reminded the lx100 can match that aperature and fov perfectly. And way more too. Sigh.

Got the Fuji 70 - 300 this week. Have not used it too much, but it's been really fun. I am hoping this will be my "nature" lens. I've already noticed having the lx100 in my pocket helps a lot in case the Fuji is too tight.

I want to use this one more, I do love the results I am getting. It's definitely the best 28mm equiv. lens I ever had the pleasure to own. Mostly, I document my family with this lens. I don't have too many photos that I am comfortable to share (for privacy reasons). I think all of it is Astia SOOC.

I did some wall tests out in the sun (to make sure lighting or flickering wasn't causing it) and yeah I think it's a a sticky shutter problem. Only when using burst and in mechanical shutter mode (>1/6000th) does it happen. It's sadly quite consistent. This is really bad time for this to happen...

I use m43 for documenting my kid mostly and some travel. Or when I want don't want to risk taking out my fuji gear. I also use my E-PL8 as a second cam with a more standard focal length, in case I have a tight portrait lens on the Fuji (which is most of the time). Also I know it's not 100%...

Sadly, the x100v is not the answer. At least not for me. I had issues with its viewfinder (with eyeglasses), price, AF speed and the lens field of view. Also not pocket-able even with the smallest WR kit. I also foolishly had a silver one.

I highly recommend the Fuji 35mm f1.4. On the XT-3 its focusses very fast and has even more shallow DOF (if that interests you). Unless you need the WR of the f2 lens.

Ignore the exif 23mm, it's wrong. f1.2 f1.2 f8 Lovely, sturdy lens. Super affordable. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

I agree, this lens is amazing. It's also my most used lens. This lens is the reason why I sold the x100v got the XT-3 instead. All of these are SOOC Astia.
