MAS = Museum by the Stream (Scheldt)
A kind of special looking building. Worth a visit on its own, plus there's access to the observation platform on the roof where you get a great view of the city and the Scheldt.

Moonrakers abstract, I find really special because it's an easily obtainable image.
The creativity is in seeing the image. And then capturing and processing it into something wondrous.
I really liked the K10D CCD sensor!
There are a few things to keep in mind though: not good at high ISO and not that much dynamic range. That is, compared to what we are accustomed to nowadays.
It's especially susceptible for blowing out reds and as far as I remember yellows as wel. Not a bad...
Isn't "everything that makes life fun" very heavily taxed and therefore very expensive in the Scandinavian Countries?
I remember this from a week in Stockholm with colleagues for the training on a new release of our product.
First evening after the trip most were very "thirsty" and with 4 or 5...
I'd like to nominate Davids b&w in the thread "Abandoned"
I find it a beautiful b&w composition but above all, it perfectly conveys the feel of Abandoned
Over here there was a tradition that when a house is being built and the highest point is reached - not necessary finished - a tree branch is attached.
That was also a signal the owner had to treat the crew. Guess with what, beer of course :rolleyes:
I have no idea if this is still in use though.
The lens arrived a few days ahead of schedule so I took it on a short walk along a canal and in the countryside.
My conclusion: I like it š
