    Stroll Abandoned

A strange one here: I wondered what it could be, lying in the middle of the meadow. When I investigated, it turned out to be an oven glove. I presume one of the owner's dogs had stolen it from the castle kitchen and run off to play with it?

This is actually a 12th Century chapel (much restored) within the grounds of Upton Castle in Pembrokeshire. Within, lies the tomb effigy of who is thought to be Sir William Malefant, who died in 1362. Who appears pretty (h)armless.

    B&W: Words/No Words

Well, I'm surprised to find that if I caught the next bus from my village in to town, I could get the evening train which would deliver me direct to Bucknell station after 4 hours and 32 minutes. I might pop over sometime. :D

Wandering around Great Malvern after our hike up the hills, we came upon this, one of the natural springs in the area. Apparently it was well-dressing time and the theme was a royal one; hence the Queen of Hearts decoration. Although one can drink the ready supply of free water, it would...

This is a path cut through Runcorn Hill in Cheshire.
