Fuji Is the XT-1's mic input "powered"?

I have this mic: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1059342-REG/rode_smartlav_smart_lav_lav_mic_for.html it has a TRRS connector apparently. I've got an adapter to take it from 3.5 to the 2.5mm on the XT1 but I also need this adapter...

    Fuji Showcase Fuji 10-24mm f/4 R OIS

Went exploring a bit this morning. This place has pretty epic potential. I'm trying to find my way around so I know where the better spots are since it's ~5 minutes from my house... first of the morning: Fort Wetherill by benjacobsen, on Flickr walking back to the car: Fort Wetherill...

Fuji Solution for base 200 ISO and 1/4000th maximum shutter:

OK, so the 10-24mm works with the most logical option in terms of xumes and lees. 72mm xume, 72mm lee UWA adapter. $100 later and I'm all set...

Fuji Solution for base 200 ISO and 1/4000th maximum shutter:

77 filters might work. I'm trying to get my lee panel filters working so there's a lot involved... 72mm lens -> 72mm/77mm stepup ring -> Xume 77mm system -> 77mm lee adapter ring -> lee filter holder with three slots... granted I can see the vignette with that with just the Lee ring in place...

Fuji Solution for base 200 ISO and 1/4000th maximum shutter:

can't wait for their lenscaps... yes, the 56mm can be used with the 58mm filter or the 67mm filter. With the 58mm there's no vignette, it just looks not as nice since it steps down. If you go with the 67mm it's not quite as bad as the 77mm in terms of size and it actually looks and acts as a...

    Fuji Are fuji lenses overpriced?

let's not confuse overpriced with expensive here. The 23mm, 56mm and 10-24mm are all right around $1,000. That's a lot of money. My 23mm has replaced a sigma 35mm 1.4 that was $900? The 56mm replaced a 85mm 1.8 that was $400? The fuji's are built better and have better IQ ignoring the...

    Fuji Showcase Fuji 10-24mm f/4 R OIS

First two shots with my 10-24mm from this morning: these are JPEGs processed in LR (since it won't play with RAWs w/o cheating). Both have a Lee CP and Lee .9 GND in place and are single files.

Fuji Solution for base 200 ISO and 1/4000th maximum shutter:

I picked up a set of Xume magnetic filter rings and put them on a 3 stop ND, but I also picked up a threaded metal lenscap and added it to a ring. What this does is it allows you to very quickly add an ND to any of your fast primes... Click the picks for more info (a written list of all 56xf...

Fuji The Fuji X-A1: a camera to be reckoned with

I use a step down ring that takes the lens from it's 52mm threads (I think?) down to 30mm. So that inner hole is technically threaded for a smaller filter. No vingetting. And it's a small enough hole I can slide the camera into a jacket pocket w/o anything touching the lens itself so I can...

    Fuji XE-2 Predictive Focus Tracking

so to get predictive tracking on the XE2 you need to be in AF-C and 3fps mode right? What about AF area, single point or all or either?

Fuji My score: X-a1 or X-m1?

I went with the XA1. Why? Because it was basically $200 after selling off the kit lens. I have an XE2 and I had an XM1 along side the XA1. The XM1 is very very close to the XA1 and the XE2 is every so slightly better in terms of high ISO noise. But they're so close... and adobe products...
