I've still to figure out what to do with the Darkroom equipment I've been given. I have two people that will help but I will have to rent a small place to set this up and do it right. Thought about starting a community Darkroom and Photography club aimed at Seniors. I just don't how much energy...
I am being given two Minolta medium format cameras by my aging brother in law. I know very little to nothing about Minolta medium format. Don't even know the models. Haven't seen him in years but he follows my photography. They didn't make many did they?
Some of the best BBQ in Florida and a very tough Mountain Bike track across the street with a boat ramp into the Intercoastal waterway on the east coast out back, near St. Augustine. Fun place to hang out. F100 28-70 3.5-4.5 HP5.
Ok , I'll admit I have a problem with bags but this one caught my eye for a light weight carry . It will hold a Camera with lens and two additional lens plus odds and ends and tripod. If it's a comfortable sling it will be great.
Looking into the GA 645 Zi to satisfy my Medium Format urge. Any advice , I need the auto focus to help out old eyes. I have slowly thinned out my 35 MF kits to where I only have the T90 . It and the OM2n had the best viewfinders, but father time marches on.
Cerita, It is smaller than the F100, the auto focus is just as good and it just feels good in my hands. I could take this thing with me as my primary shooter. Every time I pick it up I wonder how Minolta went broke.
Speaking of Minolta, it is fast becoming my favorite film machine. The Maxxum 7 could turn me back into a pure film shooter. This thing is amazing. just need to gather the glass and will have a lifetime kit.
That's a Beauty Cerita and I hear you on the dials. I love my Fuji's. The thing is with Nikons is I shot so many of them their menu system is second nature to me. That and the fact the F100 felt exactly like my D300 and D700.
Can't wait to see some pics out of the F4. Congratulations on a very...
Just my 2 cents. The F100 has faster auto focus and full compatibility with G and VR lens, and will take AI and AIS lens as well, all in a smaller snappier handling package. I shopped them side by side and the F100 was an easy choice. Good luck.
I always start with that thought process and end up here. I really should sell some of this stuff but I have no really expensive gear so this is just because their nice to hold and play with. Especially the Oly and it's the cheapest rig I have, but just feels right.
Finally finished a roll of Superia in the F100 this morning. I have the OM2n with me now to try and finish a roll of AGFA Vista200 that's half finished. I really have to thin out my projects. I still have to finish a roll of HP5 in the Minolta that's on frame 12. Good problem to have I guess...
