    Hi Peter, if I may ask: I see stark has a few meanings, like desolate, severely simple, rigid, bluntly plain. These are related, but could you explain which you were thinking? Also, thanks for the compliment!

    Interesting indeed. I can imagine the foreground being this dark, all the light is coming from a very low sun and is obstructed by the heavy clouds.
