Some years ago I used an excellent Sony superzoom bridge camera with a 1" sensor and a great Zeiss lens, the RX10; at first I had the MkIII, then I sold it and upgaded to a MkIV which had (supposedly) improved AF. The camera had a well-deserved reputation as a tool for bird & wildlife...

Trying out an interesting older bridge camera, a Canon SX50... it's surprisingly small, and very light weight, and rather plasticky - but it seems to take nice pictures.

Technically, these aren't Halloween decorations yet, because I haven't put them out on my front porch yet -- my Zombie Head and Hands :devilish:

Though I really like them all in this Z30 series, my favorite hands down is the first one - the high contrast black & white image of the skeleton sitting in a porch chair... it's SO cool, Andrew!

What caught my attention was the hoverfly, perched silently between the petals of the white rose. Everything else was just part of the frame.
