I think Fomapan often benefits from being shot at a lower ISO than what's on the box, so it probably wouldn't hurt to shoot that at 200; then again, you could shoot at box speed and double down on the grain, it's a pretty grainy film, in a nice aesthetic sort of way. In live view, yes; and the OVF has a focus confirmation even in manual focus, by means of a green dot in the bottom of the OVF, illuminated focus point and/or a beep.

I think the cool thing about releasing lenses in M42 mount is that they should be adaptable to the Pentax DSLRs, which usually lose out to these third-party lenses which only ever tend to get released in mounts with shorter flange distances.

I think a bulk roll of Fomapan 100 sounds like a great time - as long as it has no manufacturing inconsistencies, which seem to crop up now and then. I had a bulk roll of Foma 200 and enjoyed it, but 100 is probably my favorite B&W film. Its look is so classic and it is chef's kiss with Rodinal.

I mean, I don't hate his work. Some of it is really compelling. I think his schtick, the in-your-face street ambushes, are the least interesting work he does. Viewing them gets old for me almost immediately. Much of the other stuff is really interesting. I think he's a better portrait...

The fog is inside the EVF? If so, that's not normal behavior. Shouldn't be moisture in there.

I find Rodinal gives it some added analogue charm. You're right though; it is almost too clinical of a film, while also being impressive in resolution.
