Shingle street, Suffolk coast.
Miles of shingles and not a lot else apart from a few houses.
It's quiet and I think people go there to get away from it all, although some of these places are becoming more popular and busier.
OK. Thanks, that explains it, its just that when I typed into Google, D90 aspect ratio, it came up that it can be changed within the menu which caused the confusion.
I have a Lumix so I can use that if I want an in house square format so to speak.
Appreciate your replies and advice.
Cheers
Boz
Hi
I've had a D90 for some time now and enjoy using it, albeit not to its full potential, but I'm lazy like that, but recently I thought I would experiment and change the aspect ratio, only to find there is no setting in the menu for this, unlike my Lumix G2, am I missing something here, or...
Hi, Somewhere I have an old film photo of a bridge just like this that crossed the A3 near the Effingham turn off (heading out of London ) it was before they built the M25, happy days .
Walton on the Naze
A small busy end of the line resort with a pier, fish and chips etc, but travelling up to the far end of the Naze by the Tower, when the tide is out you can walk right round to the more deserted parts of beach, where they have found Pre Historic sharks teeth in the receding...
Although I have a couple of DSLRs along with film some cameras which I still use, I've always wanted another Fujifilm X30, a great camera I enjoyed using and regret selling, but that's another story, but the price of some of the advanced digital compact cameras has gone through the roof, on...
Madonna and child with a bit of camera blur, taken whist strolling around in a church somewhere but can't remember where it was.
Not sure why its come out this size, ive obviously done something to it at some point.
Ye Olde Staircase and Camera .
Visited an old house recently, and as I love old photos, I thought i would give a couple of my images the Olde Worlde Look just for the fun of it.
Unfortunately the Old Folding camera isn't mine .
As it was pouring with rain we ran into the house with just my...
Hi
During the Dissolution which came about during the reign of Henry the 8th, many Abbys and Monasteries were demolished unfortunately, a real shame as the workmanship was incredible, but few were left intact.
This was apparently masterminded by Thomas Cromwell, and made King Henry rich, some...
The large standing stone with the sun behind it, dates back to the Dark ages , before the Norman invasion, so we were told , and was placed in this churchyard .
Thanks Guys
We love North Norfolk, although we live on the North Essex coast, we spend a lot of our spare time, and weekends away up there, anywhere from Winterton on Sea, round to Heacham, Blakeney , Wells and beach walks at Brancaster particular favourites , nice pub fish and chips at Blakeney.
Agree that some camera and lens combos just seem to feel right , I hope to pick up a 50mm 1.8 AF lens for the D90 at some point, that'll do me, the fast aperture will be handy in some situations, I'm lazy in some ways and I'm not one to change lenses if I don't have to.
I think its K&F concept...
Norton 16H , restored over about 35 years, a bit at a time , from 2 tea chests of parts and a frame by my late Dad.
Taken on and old film camera , probably an old Mamiya or Nikon 35mm.
Thanks, fortunately I have an AF lens fitted anyway, but just would have been handy to use the lenses on my manual 35mm Nikon.
I've had various cameras over the years both film and digital, my old D80 was always a good reliable old camera, so didn't hesitate to but the D90 with a very low...
Hi
I picked up a D90 a while ago, as the D80 I used to have was a good reliable DSLR, but there is no setting for non CPU lenses etc in the menu, , but put an old Vivitar Nikon fit manual lens on it anyway from my F301 , nothing worked, blank screen after taking a photo, not a real prob as...
