I just picked up a used GF23F4. Definitely not a casual sized lens but not too heavy considering. Really happy with the output of first few test shots.
Here it is with my other 23. The cron would've made a nice third to this comparison.
This weekend I get my cast off (broke my right hand)...
With the Nikon 6T. Surprisingly (to me) close and what's in focus looks pretty good. No crop or adjustments. Just C1 default and Nostalgic Neg from an .raf. This lens is quite handy.
Pretty stoked, my new to me GFX 100s arrived today. With the II out there are some nice deals to be had.
I borrowed a friends 50 3.5 in the meantime while waiting for an incoming 23 and 35-70. The pixel peeper in me sure is giddy. ( :
Tamron 70-300. Very decent. Affordable-ish. About as small and light as it gets. Or the 28-200. Excellent and you can possibly justify the size by consolidating with a wide mid zoom.
A revisit to the X-T5 and 56WR.
At first, the sound of the 56 AF reminded me of the old Nikkor 85 1.8 AF-D. Pre AF-S lenses - fast, quick with that lovely screw driver whirr.
That and field of view. Imagery, however is quite different. 😁
Was perusing old files with the Fuji 50R and GFX 110. There's a wonderful clarity and color tonality with the combo's files. This capture fits the output format nicely imo.
