Nikon New Zeiss Otus lenses for Nikon Z Mount

At least for their rangefinder lines, Voigtlander, historically and currently, caters for both 'character' and 'precision' (LTM lenses in the past up to their APO/ VintageNokton lines now) to the point where you don't actually have to look at getting a native lens. It's more 'precision' as...

Lens F1.4 and Faster, Any Focal Length, Any Mount, Any Camera.

@morerorless , these Milvus images really are something, the lenses are bigger/ heavier than today's mirrorless offerings as well as being manual focus only but seriously, who cares about any of that when they render like they do.

    Fuji Fujifilm Half Frame Digital

I'm a bit confused about the Half Frame terminology applied to this new camera to be honest (1 inch sensor, no?) however, any compact OVF camera like this is fine by me, they're fun and there's too little of them around at the moment imo.

B&W Discussion: Should we clarify what type of black and white images should go into which thread?

I’m abstaining. Years ago I did use ā€˜mono’ presets as part of my PP routine and yes, it was a bit iffy as regards the tones. But that’s not an issue these days for me as I generally only apply greyscale to images when not editing in colour (which is b&w right?) so I’m happy enough to post these...

Mmmm, so you're on the F mount now, eh. Given the sheer number, availability and decently (or let's say sensibly) priced used quality and fun optics, I reckon this is a journey that's going to run a very long course. If you see a Nikkor AF-D 50mm F1.8 going for peanuts, grab it.

    Nikon For Nikon Z users - the 35mm F1.2 Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.2 S is here

Now Viltrox have announced a 35mm F1.2. It's for E mount but surely only a matter of time before it gets to Z Mount. Obviously cheaper than the Nikkor, but smaller too. I thought I'd keep this here rather than start a new thread as it would be sensible to have a look at this first before...

Sony Cobalt Image made me fall back in love with my A7 III

I don’t need Cobalt now as I have a ccd sensor in my main camera giving me the ā€˜look’ I want but if I have to upgrade to a more modern sensored camera then looking at that software is one of the first things I’d do. I’ve only seen not used the profiles but they do look convincing to my eye.
