We are in the midst of our “nasty” summer phase. Low to mid 90’s for weeks and high humidity. The kind where you get wet just standing outside.
Humidity gonna be this was probably until late august and early September. The heat usually is only for the first couple of weeks in July before it...

As much as Olympus was going down the software pipeline they could have maybe saved themselves by dabbling in cellphone tech. Partnering with someone like Apple or Google to put some heavy machine learning and cell technology into a camera for the vloggers and Instagramers.
Put a good editing...
I had a few theories that I discussed with others but not sure if I went through them here.
Olympus over promised on key features and under delivered (AF, low ISO IQ). Olympus said that the EM1.2 could compete with flagship DSLRs in AF. I tested this first hand with a Nikon...
One good thing though for those that are patient and not opposed to buying used is that of this is a tech liquidation, then there will be a s panic to all the m43 gear, with a subsequent drop in the value of used gear, so you could eventually get an em1.2 per inexpensively.
And on top of that, looks like Tamron is going to go native Z mount here soon.
It’s probably only a matter of time before Sigma and Tokina do as well.
I agree, I wish I could own everything, so I might need to start playing the lottery so I can just buy as I please.
If I did not work as a photo professional, I would probably just run a Fuji X system.
However, I need the performance of the Nikon's for the sports and event work I do.
I think we are probably a good 5-10 years away still for there to be a mirrorless system that can do the sports work of a...

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center East Hospital used me to cover their "white Coats for Black Lives" event. My image was used around the 1:45 mark in the attached video. The other images are from the Main hospital.
This one of the man in the dark scrubs and the East hospital...
Then, as we were documeting the murals, a group of about 1000 marched silently down the street and made their way to the Ohio State House in Columbus.
They came together, prayed and left within 30 minutes.
I decided to venture into Downtown Columbus on this Sunday June 7, 2020. My intention was to document the boarded up business and document some of the art that was put up on the plywood.
I ended up with over 230 images and that was me being down there documenting for over 2 hours. I still...
I think you’ve done some decent analysis there and you already have your answers. If you value the dual I S system, go with Panasonic. If you value the potentially better continuous autofocus system then get the Oly.
Someone on another site asked what these might look like in monochrome. This was their favorite.
Oddly, I'm usually a monochrome devotee, but I think these images overall are best served with the full color pallette. Thoughts?
