I thought that I should share with you my latest DIY stuff :) I really felt the need for a better grip with this camera so I took some quality adhesive tape and some quality wood and made this thing. Painted black of course. Im actually pretty satisfied. Time will tell if it will last or not :)

Thanks for your time and effort. I get the picture of why the raw looks like it does. But. Imagine you shoot raw only and auto dr 100. Then the raw file is viewed in lightroom the same way as you shoot it. Doesnt this rawfile works better with processsing than the underexposed one that comes...

Yeah true. But im just curious about x owners thinking in this matter. My brain says raw. Just to be on the safe side when a GOOD shot is taken. By my workflow says stay jpeg, coz they look good and there are a bit room left over for processsing in the jpeg aswell.. Sent from my GT-I9300...

Yeah that would be ideal. But as I wrote, when u set the jpeg to auto dr the raw will be under exposed by two stops. And thats not ideal for me at least. I have to fix the dr to 100 in the jpeg to get things right but then I sortof loose the meaning by using the jpeg and fujis dr boost... Sent...

My previously cameras are panasonic lx3, Olympus ep3, canon crop and ff and today my only camera is the x100 and I think it's the best thing I used so far. I can't see a single negative issue with it.

Sab is already fixed... By previously owner... It could be me, I'm not sure yet, have just owned it for a bit over a month. But it could also be the known fact that he x100 is struggling with direct sun light and the scene gets overlit

Sometimes a scene get way overexposed no matter what metering mode I'm in. And I noticed this outdoors.. I guess this is another good reason to shot raw... I know how to exposure properly but this gem tricks me from time to time Is it my fault or known issue? Ways to workaround?

To shame to sell that gem:) I dig your style, lots of "cold" colors, de-saturated in a good way. That's brilliant editing. Good luck with selling it! ... Or not:)

I live in Sweden and I found it worth the price, I can't remember the exactly price but I think it was around 22gbp including freight cost.

I haven't used a leather case yet but I like this one! Grip is now great compared to a naked x100. I rather take this cheap plastic case than a cheap leather one. If i had money left for a gariz then it would be harder to decide..

Thanks . There would be nice to have a quick button who took me back to my own default jpeg setting. But I guess I have to assign that setting into the custom mode and switch between them via the raw button

Hi! I'm trying to understand how customized settings work on x100. I know how to setup a setting for say b&w and then save it. But what to do when I'm in that mode and later on wants to switch back to standard setting without the b&w in camera tweaking? If I just change to provia all the other...

Download file into formatted sd card. Start up camera with card and press disp back at the same time

And MF is now much faster and with focus peaking as u may know

It works great! AF is much faster. And the close up focus distance is now as it should be.

The thing is, I want to use jpeg and auto DR and RAW at the same time, but as you may have seen, the orf file is then underexposed by two stops due to auto DR. So I need to set auto DR to off, but then I don't need the jpeg at all, rather take the more versatile raw instead. It's a shame that...

Interesting to hear your thoughts about raw vs jpeg with this thing. I have not decided yet , but I'm in a try jpeg process right now and find the auto ISO and auto dr really great! Yes I can go jpeg plus raw, but I would like to choose workflow before shooting

Congrats to the awesome thing! I had the same issues with my wife. But sending her for a shopaholic weekend with her mom calmed the worst storm off:) happy shooting!
