    Sorry for the confusion. I wasn't clear enough. I used Apple’s Aperture for the raw conversion, and indeed I lost highlight data between the 1600 and 3200 ISO exposures. I opened RPP just so I could have a look at the "Real RAW" data. And indeed the 3200 exposure was brighter than the 1600...
