    Hong Kong Skyline Images

This is my second time to shoot Hong Kong with the Fuji Xsystem. I brought along my 10-24, 50-230, 8mm and 35mm. I wanted to try out the Teles, and tried to find several spots to make use of them. I have heard of bad reviews about the 50-230, but My photos says differently. Its an awesome lens...

    SECDEA Beach Resort, Davao Philippines

I had short day trip in this place. Arrived before lunch already and was ready for a dip because of the scorching sun but I scouted the place a bit for my next visit and maybe stay here overnight. Since it was midday already I had to use a 9 and 6 stop ND to get the long exposure effect. Here...

Here some more I edited... I & The Multitude / A single moss covered rock surrounded by little ones. The cloudless afternoon produced some side lighted colors. It always pays when you decide to go for a quick stroll at the local beach even though you were really sure that the sunset was going...

    Sunset Images (XT1 + XF 10-24)

My first time to use the 10-24 on a serious shoot. Other than it has heavy hotspot when using IR filters, I think the 10-24 is a superb lens. Sharpness is excellent and distortion is so minimal that I barely notice it. Here are some images of the shoot. Regards, Gid

Im using Sirui tripods. A 2205x for harsher environaments and a T025x for city shooting. Filters includes ND 3/6/9 stops, CPL, and ND grads. You need to have all hehe. Having this set up gives you versatility. For the 3rd shot, the sun was still up and i used 2 NDs 3+9 to achieve that image.

SUBDUED - At the mercy of the light, we got to work with it. The muted tones along with long exposure produced serene scenes with soft highlight details contrasted with dark hues of the rocky shore.

Thank you Mikey! SECLUSION These huts serve as resting area in Sisiman. With the sun side lighting the rocks and huts, I opted to face to the inner direction. I was amazed on how the details of the rocks turned out. The colors are outstanding for my taste. I used Velvia mode here.

Sisiman Bay, Bataan Philippines (Landscapes with my XT1)

My group of friends went to a location yesterday to shoot some scapes. We were hoping for a fiery awesome sunset but we ended up with some subtle pastel colors that lasted for about 10 minutes.
