Fuji Only 2 Lenses to choose

I'm going that way since I got my 16mm. I have a 56, (and a 23) but I'm not sure whether the 35 might be a better second lens to carry around for my 2-lens kit

Fuji Should I sell my X-T1?

If that were a general feature of Fuji X photos I'd be worried. But if you look at some of the pictures on this forum or elsewhere, that's clearly not the case. Nor would pro photographers go anywhere near the system - especially not people like Annie Liebowitz, who has an X100 series camera. So...

    Fuji Weather Sealed Lenses

The 16mm f1.4 is weather sealed. I believe that the forthcoming 90mm will also be. The 16 would be a great beach/ close-up action lens

Fuji New XF 16mm f1.4 arriving on Wed

I got mine a couple of days ago. Sold my 14mm to buy it. My X-T1 kit is now 16, 23, 35 and 56 Plus my X100s and WCL for a pocketable travel kit

Fuji XF 16mm F1.4 R WR announced today

I'm planning to order this. Selling my 14 and 18 to have this as my main wide angle. My 23 will be my main 'all-purpose' lens and my 35 for when I want a bit more isolation of my subject. I'm holding onto my 56 for now, but if I find I don't use it much - and I don't at present - then that's...

Fuji Advice on the XF 23mm

I don't know whether taping over your logo has any beneficial effect. If you're being photographed, you'll notice someone pointing a camera at you. If it's a Fuji, whether there's a logo on it or not, you'll register the fact that it's a smallish, slightly retro camera rather than a big...

Fuji Really having trouble choosing a bag for X system

I have a Hadley Small. I can fit an X-T1 with a lens on, 3 spare lenses, my X100s, and various other bits and pieces without a problem. Look on YouTube for videos of people packing/unpacking their Hadley Smalls. Having said that, I never have taken all my kit out with me in one bag, and I can't...

Fuji What would a reasonable price to ask for my Fuji X100s be?

It's a supply and demand thing. Popular product, lots of demand - Ebay's your place. But it depends on getting a largish number of bidders competing with each other to push the price up. Not so good for specialist products where in any given week there might only be one or two people looking to buy.

Fuji What would a reasonable price to ask for my Fuji X100s be?

Put it on EBay - there's plenty of demand for them, so you should get the right price, even if you start with a 99c starting price. That's what I did with my XE1 and XE2

Fuji Can anyone refute that Fuji inflates its ISO numbers?

    That makes sense!

Fuji Can anyone refute that Fuji inflates its ISO numbers?

ISO's just a number. If it were causing me a problem with getting the right exposure, then I'd worry. But both my X100s and my XT1 seem to get the exposure pretty much spot-on, even in low light. And there's always exposure compensation and manual control for tricky lighting situations. So I...

    Dogs Dogs (part II)

Some more pictures of my dog Pilot. My aim here is to try to capture his personality. Which is frenetic, enthusiastic and slightly deranged. There's one 56mm 1.2 shot there but I had to make him sit still for long enough to take it. Mostly I chase after him with a 14mm lens, held low to the...

    Fuji XF35mm 1.4 vs XF56mm 1.2

I mainly shoot people, and I like to get close-up to my subject and to get a sense of action and interaction in my pics. I find long-lens photography a bit distancing, and a bit voyeuristic, like the viewer is looking at something he or she isn't part of. My 2 favourite lenses are the...
