    Thanks chap, I'll get busy playing, also bought a set of hoya filters to see whats what. Rain shield is a good call, i keep the camera in a padded dry bag while away, the temperature up on the plateau will be mostly below 0oC at that time though. :)

    Hello chaps, QVC UK has the XE-2 with 16-50mm and the 50-230mm lenses + bag and screen protectors for £749.96 spread with their easy pay thing over 4 months at £187.49+pp. I bought my XE-1 through qvc and can highly reccomend them as a seller if you've not come across them before.
