They are outstanding Ian. You picked a great spot. There were lots of "Long Tom" lenses on display there - some ludicrously too long to handhold. But it almost looks as if you are flightside with yours - they are superb photos.

I have the 18mm and also the 100-400mm. I want a zoom in between, so that I can maybe flip the 18mm. What, in your opinion would be a suitable zoom?

I just bought the 100-400 with teleconverter. It's a beast but preliminary shots in the street show it to be nice and contrasty at very low speeds. (I have trembling issues - but not in the knees!).
