    Fuji Fuji X-e1 vs X-e2s

Today I have finally had the chance to the test the X-E1. I love the JPGs! The colors from this camera are superb! And I like a lot of things about this camera. The simplicity: for some reason, I find it better than dealing with the X-T10 or even the X-T2! That's, of course, only my personal...

Fuji Fuji x-e1 command dial, what is it for?

I might actually have found a solution for the hot pixels issue: Long exposures and overheated pixels... - Tony Sweet Photography I tried the steps mentioned, a few times, especially the long exposure and right after a sensor cleaning. First few tests came out clean. Edit: More tests are clean...

Fuji Fuji x-e1 command dial, what is it for?

Yes, that's what I would do too. I'm really surprised I've never experienced this issue before and now that I'm checking it seems pretty common instead. I'm used to import my raw files and just edit them, never had to clean any hot pixels before. Well, I guess I need to get used to it.

    Fuji Fuji X-e1 vs X-e2s

I see now what you meant with your previous post about the cost of the x-e1. Basically, I saw the x-e2s on Amazon for about $420. Glad to know I payed a good price for my x-e1 :-)

Fuji Fuji x-e1 command dial, what is it for?

Hi BobbyT, How do you deal with the hot pixels? I use ACR and it's supposed to take care of it automatically, which I think it kind of does. The problem is when the image is dark and the ISO is high, then I guess ACR can't exactly tell the difference between a hot pixel and noise. In fact, I...

    Fuji Fuji X-e1 vs X-e2s

Thank you all for the information! I don't use automatic focus, only old manual lenses, so probably I wouldn't gain that much. @mikEm13 the x-e1 costed me $215. When I look for it either on eBay, Amazon, or keh, I can't find any listing cheaper than that (maybe a few bucks, but not...

    Fuji Fuji X-e1 vs X-e2s

Hi, I'm playing with the used X-E1 and I'm wondering what's the main difference with the X-E2s. Considered for about $200 more I can get a brand new X-E2s, I'm really thinking whether it would be worth to spend the extra 200 bucks or stick to my X-E1. I already have an X-T10 but I love the...

Fuji Fuji x-e1 command dial, what is it for?

The hot pixels are obvious, I noticed them right away as the color really did pop in that area. In one image I counted about 20 hot pixels. Today I cleaned the sensor with a simple rocket blower, I'm not sure if that can help. After a first test, it seems it got a little better, but it's early...

Fuji Fuji x-e1 command dial, what is it for?

Thank you, mikem13 That's the way I'm using it, then I think it's all it can do. At least now I know there's nothing wrong with the camera, except for the hot pixels. Thanks for chiming in.

Fuji Fuji x-e1 command dial, what is it for?

Hi, My first post here. I recently just bought a used x-e1. First thing I noticed, the command dial doesn't seem to do much. I shoot manual and I'm used to the X-T10, so I was expecting the command dial to be used to change shutter speed or to be customized in order to change ISO. I can use it...
