My Pentax-DA 50-200mm benefited a lot with the AFFA. After the fine-tune, I had almost 98% BIF keepers. It's amazing what a modern screw-driven lens can do. It's definitely fastere than the 18-135mm. It's night-and-day when the AFFA is done, mate. We only have to do it once per lens per camera...

Sorry to hear that. My only issue with AF is when I immediately use the lens without doing the AFFA. Once the AFFA is done, everything is spot-on/within my acceptable range. There are some lenses, though, that the correction is too extreme that I had to deal with the most acceptable correction...

To follow-up on this. I will be adding photos on the Pentax Image Thread using this lens which I received in October 2023. Most photos are from my everyday routine, not yet from actual dedicated photo walks, which I will be doing when the daily UV drops to a safer level. Cheers.
