Cats The Requisite Cat (Kitty) Photo thread

One of the cutest things I have ever seen. He was snoring and twitching his little head off. His name is Jeffery and I wish I could adopt him. No cats were woken up in making of these pictures :P

Panasonic Anyone have any experience with the Panasonic DMC L1 Four Thirds camera?

I would like a Four Thirds camera for the DSLR shooting experience but it's difficult to decided on one based on uniqueness design or effective functionality (as close to modern standards). Panasonic L1 is definitely on interest list because of the range finder style (like went to the KFC to...

It's a Fairy's Magical Evening. (The bokeh balls are from small flies that come out in the evening, flying in small swarms. It's quite easy to get this effect: go out just before sunset, look for a backlit scene with a decently dark subject or background, this is important to make these blobs...

Dizzying heights. Buzzard hunting above me, easy but quite boring shot. Spotted something. The brown colour in the foreground are dried river reeds as the Buzzard was starting to close in on its prey. Angry duck quaking at the sky.

Singing a beautiful song in the evening. Some trees haven't greened yet and it makes one of the best times to photograph birds because you get more light (spring time) but still get clear view of birds in trees. Giving me the cold shoulder? Across the river there's a field that seems to be...

The wind was so intense today that the trees were spasming violent, nearly got my head chopped off by a large falling branch. My favourite trees are being deflowered by the wind and I will not have to many opportunities to photograph them before they are gone until next spring.

Bough a used OEM Olympus 62mm lens cap because I dropped mine at the bottom of the pond at the park. I will have to wait until August to fish it out when the water level lowers. I could have gotten a simple and cheap plastic replacement but I do love the build quality of that lens cap.
