It’s honestly shocking how slow the last generation of Intel MBP 16 was. It’s not slow in the day to day, but it really chugs on Topaz software and if I ask it to do bulk edits in Capture One. Hopefully they’ll be better optimized in the apple silicon ecosystem.

They’re never going to be as common, but there are literally dozens of options from boutique makers.

I’m sure it’s not too bad, though some people haven’t like how it worked on the E-M5 MkIII. But that said, I’ll probably pick it up before my next big outdoor adventure. I don’t really need it before.

I could even live with 13.3 honestly. I think I could see myself getting the base model anyway, since I’d rather pay for my processing horsepower in a desktop, and with the mac studio out now…. Well that’s just a the complete setup paired with an iPad Pro or MacBook Air for travel use.

Literally any strap with the peak anchor kit? Tons of nice third party boutique strap makers using the peak system. I love my leash straps, but the cuff just isn’t a good strap for my use. It’s too big to be a good wrist strap, but too stiff too be a loose oversized safety strap.

I absolutely loved my Pentax 300/4 on my KP and K1, it had similar close focus capabilities and was one of my favorite combos for flowers and large insects. Just beautiful compression. I’d love to try the Olympus one at some point to see if I felt the same.
