    Thanks for your reply. As my previous post says the option to choose Manual Steady Shot Adjust is greyed out. This has to be ‘on’ to accept the focal length of lens chosen.

    Thanks Mike, I can indeed set a focal length in settings but the ability to set ‘Steady Shot Adjust Manual adjust’ is greyed out. A message is displayed on screen saying “The lens is not attached correctly or is not supported.” I have also tried a Canon FD adapter with same result. So no IBIS...

    I have bought a Sony a6600 which has ibis. However my hopes of getting ibis using some Canon fd and Nikon ai I still have with a third party adapter have been dashed. Unlike MFT the camera does not recognise the converter and therefore ibis unavailable.
