Yes, the croc pictured has been isolated from the other crocodiles because of his aggressiveness. Both front arms are missing claws.

Nah. :) It's a Garrott P87 MC, that dates back to the late eighties. But it did sell for around $1200 back then. I picked it up cheap on ebay, and it still has plenty of life in it. Chris

Thanks all. I try and capture a mood when taking shots of my hi fi, and thought these pics were best served in B&W.

I like them too Ray. Are they shot with the X-100? I ask because to me the x-100 has that definite look about some of the pics, and that second shot has that look about it.

Sony Nex 5N + Olympus OM Zuiko 21mm 3.5 I think I now have my ultra wide lense needs sorted now after buying this lense. Haven't had much of a chance to use it yet though.

I couldn't resist picking up another Rokkor, and picked up an MC W 28mm 3.5 for only $13 on ebay, just now. With postage I'll have it to my door for under $20 Aust, so if it is as described, I reckon I may have got a bargain. :) Chris

I walked out my back yard into the neighbouring park to try a few shots with this lense and Sony Nex 5N.. I'm really impressed with the bokeh capabilities of it, but it was fairly windy so had to concentrate on the main part on items on the ground. Here are 3 pics, Settings were ISO 800...

I've not really mastered macro on the X-100, but then again I don't often use the mode either. I did try out the inbuilt flash today, and this is the result: Exposure 1/1000 @ f5.6 ISO 3200

I have both the X-100 & NEX-5N, and think that you would be less frustrated with the Sony. In my experience, I needed to work a lot harder with the Fuji to get consistently good pics, on the other hand, the Sony's peaking feature makes using it a breeze. Although the Sony feels a little...
