Thought I would give it a try, shot this one this morning after late April snow here in Colorado

thank God it is not Mary Kay pink. Would look terrific cruising Biscayne Blvd.

color photos werer PP using two of Trey Ratcliff's presets, toned down a bit, b&w was Silver Efex

All x100s single photos, some HDR in post. I like photos that sometimes "pop"

apparently you never use the UDSB/HDMI ports if it never comes off?

The first shot is such a classic, european street at night. nice!

Maus is one of our rescue dogs and an absolute sweetheart of a personality. That photo was litteraly the second one I took with my new X100S

Posted two of these on another forum but decided to post here as well.

Lens cap tip worked great. I didn't want to inadvertently damage the lens.

I just don't see what you are supposed to unscrew and I don't want to damage the camera.

Both versions are wonderful, but the b&w really captures one's eye. I look forward to using the NIK suite as well, thanks to the free update from Google. Very well done.

Like the long shadow photo. I hope to get a few more photos myself today and the LR 4.4 release was very timely.

Smuggled it in from Moab and I hid the "S" behind a Gariz half case.

Too muddy today, so took a few shots near Mt. Garfield and then headed downtown. I've got to spend more time on the manual, as this is first day with a Fuji, or 35 fixed.

I was suddently notfified my X100S had shipped, but not with the 2 day Amazon Prime I had counted on. Now to wait one last week.

would prefer more cloud definition, less dark vignetting

I know this is rediculous having other good cameras, BUT the wait is affecting me in this way

I started counting them, fell asleep and killed my iPad battery, but still enjoyed the photo

precisely! I'll still get an X100s, get some experience with Fuji and working with a fixed EFL 35 camera and see what develops (so to speak)

I have been a Sony NEX7 shooter (among others) since it came out. After borrowing a CZ24 from BL at the G+ conference, I was ready to buy one, and then the X100s was announced. I have decided to spend the money on the X100s, keeping the 18-200 and a 10-18, and see what I can do with the Fuji...
