Yes, well, maybe, but not for a year or two when the price drops into the $600-$800 range. In the meantime, I'll enjoy my X100, quirks and all. Of course, 12-24 months down the line, I'll have to resist the allure of whatever other tasty morsels Fuji has to offer at that point.

You might go back to Cameta for one of their refurbed PM1s. Costs $300 with kit lens. Sell off the lens and the body will run you about $200. That's what I did and I'm happy with the decision. I really thought I'd miss the lack of direct controls, but the PM1 has easy enough controls for me once...
