I saw your name....from the past.....looked at the images posted and enjoyed them very much. I don't see posting from the "old" folks that were on the photo forums, I guess age is catching up with a lot and like myself, I very seldom get the camera out.
Cheers and will look for you again.
Great capture BB......oh it is so cold up here, terrible ice storm, trees down all over this big city and beyond!! Much too cold to go out and about for me!! Cheers and keep on smiling in your little cabin on the edge of paradise!!
Hi BB.....I find the image of the cemetary rather dreary..I know you are making the effort to make it deadly with HDR but honestly, I really don't care for HDR but I did see it on your flicker in colour and I thought it was much better!!
I do not have a mobile phone mit der Kamera.......but they seem to be pretty good at capturing "as you are passing" shots or street photos!!....and.....I enjoyed these posted images!!
I love them all...that last one made me hungry....could you order me a bacon roll and chips please? (if I were younger and healthier I would move to London!) it is a delight for photographers of all stripes!!
Just wunnerful!! Been there a number times (Penzance Cornwall) and always take a trip to the top...wot a long tedious walk it is but well worth it. Cornwall is probably my 2nd favourite part of England the first being London!! Those of you that live there are so lucky....so many beautiful and...
Yes Amin, I think that this is phoney...why?.....the mu4/3rds concept was to emulate the Pen series of cameras of film days....this is a DSLR but perhaps it is smaller and it could represent the forerunner of the end of the E series of cameras.....any further thoughts?
Hi Ian you have good reason to be happy because it proves that a built in flash like the E-P series of cameras now has is the way to go. Great results for you!
Your post is a good one and shows that sometimes when you grab one on the fly without having to concentrate on comp...that it pays off and in this case catching the bird in flight is a plus!!
Amin, you have created two sites that I always watch first!! Yes, I have made friends from both of these sites, friends that live in Nova Scotia, somewhere in New York, and also England, so my friend, keep up the good work and ignore ignoramuses as they tend to show up everywhere!!
I have to agree, those are great captures....I also like the window shot...with a little bit of work in photoshop you could bring out the shadows and then it would be spectacular. The Nex seems to be a great new addition
I have never been "from here to eternity" but I did enjoy all of your presentations, particularly the portraits and specifically the "last of the first".
I have read your review of the camera and the lenses and then I had a look at the images that you illustrate the quality of the system.......really...it isn't the system that created those beautiful images it was the photographer......any camera in your hands will produce great images. I have...
I also like this image despite the fact that I can't figure out what it is...yes, a wall, some folliage and what appears to be water going over something..can we say a waterfall?
Barrie, you are lucky to have so many photogenic spots both historical and modern day to visit from home. And all no more than 70 miles from salt water!! I love the first and second shots which show off your talents.
You know this is an interesting question because Olympus was the first to step up to the gate and present an alternative to the big bulky DSLRs, however having said that, they are doing terrible marketing. something has gone wrong with that company and others are moving ahead. It used to be...
