Received the Sony LCD Protective Cover today. It is about 2mm thick, goes on easy and does not fingerprint nor smudge easily. Buy one for $15, put it on and forget about it while keeping your camera a little bit more protected from damage.

Let us know how it is because I am looking for a strap to supplement the factory RX1R strap. One of the straps I am looking at is the Crumpler Industry Disgrace. I bought the viewfinder and the Fotodiox camera kit. I heard the lens hood can jiggle a tiny bit. Does yours?

Which grip did you get? I have been considering purchasing the Fotodiox one for my RX1R, but does the camera really benefit from a grip that does not utilize extra batteries? Or is it more about adding stability and ergonomics to an already small camera body? Thanks.
