True, i've had the d500 for a few years now and whilst i'd ( sometimes ) like something lighter, that comes with more money and as a hobbiest i don't have deep enough pockets to move systems for a minor inconvenience. The d600 that i got last year for not much money does the FF stuff perfectly...

I've had the x100T and wide angle converter before and loved it. Unfortunately, used prices have gone up massively - if I bought both converters and another T, I could be looking at over £800 and that's more than I want to spend. Looking at the x-t10, does it have the same processor as the T ...

Thanks Andy - i loved m43 but in low light, there's no comparison to APSC ( yes i know about the IBIS etc but i'm talking entry level used pricing here ). I also loved the Fuji B&W files SOOC

I'm the same, Mike. Have a mk2 and dislike it - it's just a tool, that whilst producing plenty of detail, gives me zero enjoyment. Wifey loves it, she took it to NYC and other places, so it's staying apparently

Do you use a case or bag ? I really want to keep size to a minimum as I can put the camera in a jacket pocket. If I get the WCL and filter, I'll need something a little bigger but I don't want to throw loads on money at storage...

so, lets kick off with this from the garden. Was recommended this setting for B&W shots so i added it in the custom setting. SOOC, no processing whatsoever morning dew by damianmkv, on Flickr

1.10 I believe. Had a quick look and the latest is 1.11 but doesn't add anything really ? Maybe I'm wrong TBF, the T is fine outdoors where I'll take most shots

So, not a good start to the week with the x100T. Took a few photos in the kitchen ,wide open. Jees, this thing is crappy...stepped down to f2.8..oh ok - not bad. Reads reviews about f2 and close subjects...ah well documented. Ok. Added a soft release button, charged the battery and went to bed...

I picked up a mint x100T this week with 1500 actuation for just over £500, including the Fuji case, spare Fuji battery and a JJC hood/filter. After some initial disappointment ( f2 is really soft for close ups ) and "battery drain" ( or, adding a soft release button with the camera in high...

well my "out of office" didn't last long....black X100T is now on its way and should be with me tomorrow. Sold a few lenses too so the new camera will have cost me absolutely nothing, in fact i'm just a little ahead

thanks Tony. English winters are probably not the best time to buy a camera as its always so bloody grey and dull so i was scrabbling around, hoping to find some inspiration which we all know is far from ideal I did like the look and feel of the camera so maybe another Fuji will come along..
