Supremely impressed with the D7500. I know they took the "pro" features out of it , but none of that matters to me. What's left is all good, plus the ergonomics of the body and it's grip are just right for me. Not so with the other Nikon bodies.

I did just the opposite. Had a piano black MP. It was just too shiny for me. Was browsing at my local Leica Shop (Leica Miami) and I spied a used black chrome M7. Fell in love with it. Made the trade plus $650. Love the aperture preferred mode. Do I miss my MP? You're damn right I do.

I live near the Ocean in a humid climate. The XT-1 and 35/2 WR are attached to my body at all times.

I also love the auto focus and the lack of whirling and focus movement in the 35/1.4. Fix that I will pick up 35/1.4 version 2.

I bought cheap and it works beautifully with my Nikon 105/2.5 AiS lens.
