    Micro 4/3 Thinking of switching 40-150 F2.8 to 40-150 F4

I had both the 12-40 f/2.8 and 40-150 f/2.8. Once I opted for the OM-5 for li8ght weight travel and general all around shooting, both f/2.8's were sold in favor of the f/4 versions. No regrets. I also have the 12-100 f/4 but I must admit it is mostly gathering dust ..... too big for a walk...

    Micro 4/3 Micro 4/3 samples

Last week was for the horses....... A day at Tampa Bay Downs for a few bets on the ponies and yesterday at a local equestrian event. All taken with the OM-1 and the 40-150 f/4 Pro...... I just love that lens.

Micro 4/3 Olympus 40-150 vs 40-150 (Battle of the Pros)

Iā€™ve had both the 12-40 and 40-150 f/2.8 Pro, and replaced them with the 12-45 an 40-150 f/4 Pro versions. Hereā€™s my reasoning,,. While my 12-40 f2.8 was a great lens, I found my copy to be sharpest when stopped down to f/4, so no loss there. Also, for low light f/2.8 really wasnā€™t that good...

    Olympus 12-100mm f/4 PRO On OM-5 Or E-M5...

Iā€™ve used the 12-100 with my OM-5, but because of the size and weight of the 12-100, I much prefer the 12-45 f/4 / 40-150 f/4 combination, even though this match up requires lens changing. Most times I find my shooting situations require either the 12-45 or the 40-150, but rarely both. And, the...

Micro 4/3 Showcase Panasonic LX100 I/II picture thread

Good advice on the hold/delay for the iA button. I had forgotten about that little trick, saves a lot of headache. iA also activates face detect which can fool with the autofocus. I normally us "P" unless I'm feeling that I want to be more "professional" about the whole thing. BTW, Great flower...

Micro 4/3 Showcase Panasonic LX100 I/II picture thread

I too am learning the ins and out of the LX100. Right now, I'm shooting jpegs + raws and using a lot of the in-camera filters. Then, I may take the filter generated jpegs into Lighroom and apply even more filters to get the desired effect. Or, I was interested to find that I chose a warm looking...

A few variations on a theme from an LX100-only outing with a few like-minded friends (only LX 100's allowed) using some in-camera filters and bit of LR.

Thanks Tony I've had lust after some of the Fuji gear. Particularly after using the controls on the LX100 which are similar to the Fuji, I think. But, so far, budget has restrained me from taking off on another tangent.

Micro 4/3 Showcase Panasonic LX100 I/II picture thread

Thanks for the warm welcome. I thought I'd let you know a little about myself and what I like to shoot. I'm retired after being self employed with my wife and Photo shooting partner for the last 30+ years. We were both Canon DSLR shooters for many years and gave it up for M4/3 gear after finding...

Micro 4/3 Showcase Panasonic LX100 I/II picture thread

Hi All, First post on this forum, but a long time member on the MU43 Forum (ran across this forum by accident). Here's a few images from my LX100 that normally does sidekick duty with one of my Olympus Cameras when shooting long lenses. I really like this little guy and the images surprise me on...
