jloden Over at the Leica forum, the Hawks adapter is well regarded. However on a high density megapixel sensor (like the A7r), the adapters reveal alignment issues. The consensus is to prefer a few and keep the best of the bunch.

Go for the wider option. The 2 extra millimeters translate into a significant angle of view advantages- 99 vs 89 degrees.

Short answer is yes, especially for ISO above 1600 (thanks Rico). Experiment at home, and verify it for yourself.

Peter How's the processing speed of GIMP? When last I tried it (several years ago now) it was painfully slow. At the time, I was running Slackware's Linux distro. Processing speed is significant for me. So far this year, I've shot and processed over 33,000 images.

Fuji does not get nearly enough press about how responsive they are to user feedback. It has to be one of their core strengths.
