I bought both pieces used - both are in excellent shape - but i'm finding some focus shifting issues - when I put the LUX on my M3 - it focuses to infinity no prob. on the M240 - the RF doesn't line up at infinity - so i'm guessing the M240 needs an alignment - is this a typical thing?

One was taken with the old DR lens, and the other taken with the new Summilux. There is a hint in one of the photos as to which is which (that I didn't intend to include but alas) These were shot with my M240 and the new SF40 flash... which is absolutely perfect on the 240 unlike that huge boat...

Seems like always - indoors, there is a DRASTIC difference in the shade of the RF box vs the rest of the VF

so - i'm noticing an issue with my M6 when trying to focus - the center rf box is really washed out - making contrast focusing nearly impossible.... its nowhere near as bad on my M3 - is this a problem with the camera that can be fixed or is my RF mirrors trashed?

I do ALOT of indoor shooting i've been playing with my SB900 Nikon flash - with great results only part of the time - they do not really communicate and the manual mode is not all that user friendly - so i'm wondering which Lecia or other flash would be a user friendly device for the M9...

so - does the magnifier enlarge the entire viewfinder accurately? and is there any reason that one couldn't use a 1.4 magnifier when using a 35 or 50 mm lens? does the magnification throw off the focusing, or just simply make the VF bigger? Thanks

Yup. The Leica 1.25 and 1.4 are like 300$ And they are recommended for 50mm and up or 90mm and up (respecticely 1.25 and 1.4) Im more interested in the 1.4 for the sake of making the VF easier to see. But i use a 35 and 50 primarily
