My 5cm f1.5 Nikkor from the Second and last batch.
I believe the second batch where mostly Nikon S bayonet lenses and only a very few Leica thread examples.
Sorry that it took so long to provide photo's, but it was due to ill health.
Lens came fitted with a Black early Nikkor cap.
Hello Brian,
Due to illness I have not been active on the forum for a long time.
I have recently been reading up your very informative postings about this lens.
I also have a copy of this very rare lens. My lens comes from the second 907 batch and its serial number is 9076XX and it is in Leica...
Here is a view of the lens showing the lens distance scale in feet(photo 1)and the rear of the lens (photo 2).
I am awaiting a Novoflex adapter so that I can use my lenses on my Nex 7.

I have also read that it was available on the rare Honor camera.
I...
Brian,
This is the only diagram that I have found of the element make-up of the 5cm f1.8 Super-Rokkor LTM that was illustrated in a Japanese camera magazine.
It is a 1-1-1-2-1 layout.
5cm f1.8 Super-Rokkors in LTM are mainly found scaled in metres. Luckily I managed to acquire a...
Thank you Brian, a very interesting write-up on these lenses.
The Minolta LTM lenses are very good lenses and were very neglected.I use a 5cm f1.8 Super-Rokkor and it is a very fine performer. This lens
was produced for the rare Minolta IIB camera, which was the last of the Minolta LTM cameras...

The article is in Italian but Google Chrome on Windows will translate it into English.

Many thanks for re-posting your excellent and very informative history of the 5cm f1.5 Nikkor-S.C. lens.
As you say very little has been written about this lens and it's place in the history of early Japanese "fast" lenses.
