Film Medium format look on 35mm

Or that's the idea anyway. I shot 6 overlapping (portrait orientation) frames on 35mm Tri-X and merged in photoshop. This is taking hybrid film/digital process to the extreme. I think it looks pretty good for a first attempt. 35mm film stitched panorama by Jai Sbr, on Flickr

    Film Minolta Hi-Matic 7SII

There aren't many cameras better than this, without being a lot bigger. I'm not crazy about the viewfinder, it's small and tinted blue. But I am crazy about the size, it's the film equivalent of an Nex 5. And the results from that lens, yes, it's really that good:

    Film Showcase Kodak Tri-X 400

There obviously needs to be a thread for this. This is the film by which all others are judged, and I haven't found any that are better. If you want to get into film, and don't know what to shoot, shoot Tri-X. It is incredibly versatile. You can get quite a grungy, grainy, high contrast...

Film What developer do you use

I started out using D76, as recommended by this guide: http://theartofphotography.tv/episodes/photography-lessons/the-ultimate-guide-to-developing-black-and-white-film/ I then started using D76 diluted 1:1 which I liked a bit better. I think its easier to control the more dilute solutions...

    Film Potential Film Developing Problems

I started developing my own black and white film earlier this year. I’ve ran in to several issues, and it is not easy to put in to googlable words what the problem is. Eventually I stumbled on this list and it has been incredibly helpful so far...

    Film Minolta XD

Otherwise known as the XD11 in the US or XD7 in Europe. This is the best camera I've ever used. Better, in my opinion than the XE series (I have one of those too) mainly because it's more compact and just looks cooler. I only ever use it on aperture priority or manual, but it is actually...
