If you're collecting by all means X100 Limited but if you're wanting to shoot with newer technology then get a BLACK X100s... X100s "A" allround, with a little tweak in GIMP:)

Look at your files from the 18-55 and see where most of your images are taken that said, you've already taken a liking to the 23 which gives you a 35fov from FF...i use my X100 so i chose the 14 as it's intended use is for crowded space first everything after.

I always do a quick check in the viewfinder, sometimes i forget and quickly reshoot...thankfully most were static :)

The XP1 is a great tool, i only upgraded to the XT1 in anticipation of those two 2.8 zooms to start shooting some indoor/outdoor sporting events, my keeper rate won't be the same with my Canons but i won't feel as tired after a full 10 hours of shooting :)

Is it good enough to just return them to it's original packaging? I'm retiring my XP1 and X100 and putting my XT1 and X100s into duty :) Thanks...not quite sure if digital cameras can be just packed away as the old film camera...i do have to monthly work the shutters on my MF gear though...

Sorry for the late reply but...yes hope all is working out for you now? If the M43 Oly works for you, then just switch but make sure you try first ...you're not the first to experience "focus issues" with the X series (i've read a couple on forums)...in the end it's to please you and so you do...

Another reason to shoot RAW

A simple way to test for "lens" sharpness (not 100% correct) is to put the camera on a tripod with a shutter cable connected, in a well lit room and shoot newsprint. This would eliminate suject and user/camera shake and "well lit" being daylight from a nice big window source.

Yes, i'm in the 12A batch no SAB only a viewfinder showing either or sometimes all of RGB vertical lines because i had dropped it within 1 week of ownership (very cold day, never use straps *i do now*) but doesn't affect image at all....just recently took mine in but they wanted close to $800CAD...

Not getting one till the weather sealed zooms come out then i'll get the package...see how that works out for sports. In the meantime i'll keep reading what you guys/gals are finding pros and cons...i don't think it's going to replace my 1Dx just yet. Delivery date is mid March here in Toronto...

So far i'm comfortable using it but only one issue although minor right now it can only process 8bit files if gout have 16 bit files it will convert them to 8 bit. I say it's minor because right now the people who view my prints don't see detail as important but if they see them side by side...

My take on this is... If you print small sizes, post/share mostly online, JPEG is fine. If you print large 16x20 and larger or like to process your files before showing/printing them then use RAW...anytime you want to work your images shoot RAW...RAW in film terms is "the negative", JPEG is...

Bob, the "better" sensor is in the X-E2, it has both contrast and phase detection... compare them... but it's still a tool and it's the photographer will make the difference. Fuji X-Pro1 vs X-E2
