there seems to be a growing consensus that it's the same 16+mp aps-c sensor as in the x2 with a slow zoom lens, but bigger and heavier than the current x2 line. clunky.
a leica version of the rx1 using a 50mm summicron and the m monochrom sensor would have me selling a bunch of stuff to buy. perfect companion to my rx1.
does a rebadged gx2 on june 11 make sense with the pana version due in august? usually the rebadged version follows the original.
i'm rooting for a ff mini monochrom with fixed 50/2 lens, autofocus and optional evf.
i have no rangefinder at present, so my reference point is my pentax k5. my largest manual lens is the zeiss 85/1.4, which is a behemoth (to me) and actually pulls the camera toward the ground if it's around my neck. makes balancing the camera for a low-light handheld shot that much more...
very impressive. does the size of the lens interfere with the viewfinder? or make the m9 feel unbalanced in any way? it looks so much bigger than the 35/1.4 in photos i've seen.
