    Fuji Grips ahoy

I have big hands and the large seems perfect and balanced when carrying the 10-24 or 18-135. Not sure I'd feel safe carrying those without the grip.

    Nature Show: Storms

Sorry, I didn't see another thread depicting storms so I thought I'd start one. This was snapped in the parking lot at work on my way home two days ago. Luckily I was headed north. This is Tampa Bay at the Port of St. Petersburg, Florida, USA. Dave (via X100S)

    Rust/Decay and Water

More along the theme of water. A diver pauses before entering the stingray infested waters around Pier 60, Clearwater Beach, Florida. Taken during a volunteer cleanup event we organized last Saturday. Dave (via X100S).

    Rust/Decay and Water

Here's a shot of the spring we dove last Saturday in Wakulla County, Florida. That's a layer of duckweed on the surface, the visibility underwater was quite good. Our max depth was 175' with a total dive time of 75 min. Dave (via X100S)

Noticed this parked next door to where I work today. It's the Coast Guard's "Eagle", the US military's only active commissioned sailing vessel. Incredibly, she was Nazi Germany's "SSS Horst Wessel" in a former life. See more here: USCGC Eagle (WIX-327) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Shot...

    Rust/Decay and Water

That sucks, sorry to hear you had to stop diving! I'm not using my "X" underwater, but do like to take topside shots before and after dives and on the boat rides to/from dive sites. Regarding whale sharks, we didn't see any this trip but I have swam with them off La Paz, in Baja California...

    Rust/Decay and Water

More water, this time from a diving trip I took to Cozumel last month. I still wasn't able to completely capture the ridiculous turquoise and cobalt blues in the water, but had fun trying with the X100S. I need to go back now that I have a polarizer. Dave

    Rust/Decay and Water

For fun! These were cave dives and at these sites the basins had low or no visibility. One you enter the cave passages the temperature drops and the visibility clears. Emerald is still clearing from a recent flood, so the visibility was only 20-40 feet, while Indian opened up to 100 plus feet of...
