AI Are there EXIF or any metadata tags for "AI" applications?

A few random tests of playing around and no manual edits were done to any of the file meta values. I'm really curious now what data, if any, will be captured when these are saved to the server and the EXIF attempts to be captured. 🤓

AI Are there EXIF or any metadata tags for "AI" applications?

A conversation about Photoshop's "Generative" fill features got me going down the proverbial rabbit hole and I ended up playing around with it to have some fun experiment. I was surprised by how easily I could start with a literal blank canvas in PS and then use the generative tools to generate...

Photoshop's Generative Content Aware is amazing and powerful!

Absolutely. My comment earlier about not using it for prints is from the perspective of somebody who does not have enough experience in PS to use it effectively, hence I wouldn't trust myself to make edits in situations where people would be likely to notice my mistakes. In the right hands, as...

Photoshop's Generative Content Aware is amazing and powerful!

If you have access to a current version of PS I think you'd have some fun playing around with the new generative fill options. Besides making it easy to do some edits like @L0n3Gr3yW0lf demonstrated you can start with a literal blank image and do stuff like the alien above.

Photoshop's Generative Content Aware is amazing and powerful!

I think for casual/hobby/home/idiots-like-me users it'll be handy tool for the for the shots you want to share with family & friends but want to fix something minor. Even if there are some minor issues I suspect nobody would even notice when shared to places like Facebook or other social media...

Software Any Adobe Illustrator users around who could help out with something?

I have the original .AI file for the "Cameraderie.org" logo seen in the header but I don't have AI. Are there any AI users that might be able to do a small paid job of some tweaks using the original .AI file? Thanks :)

Woot! Thank goodness for Gmail. :D I'm looking at scanning some photos but the only scanner I have in the house is an old Epson 2850. Only problem is that Epson doesn't support Win10 64-bit drivers for the 2850. I hear good things about the Epson V600 so I could use this an excuse to buy...

    Adios Adobe

Lately I've been going down that route as well of examining all of my monthly charges. When I was a younger man I used to use Quicken to methodically track my expenses but in recent years I've gotten lax about it so now extraneous charges don't bubble up to the top like they used to.

    Adios Adobe

Is this because you're using Adobe to also host your images (so you an access them from any device) or because of how easy it is to get to the tools on any device (while still hosting the images locally)? My $9.99/mth plan with Adobe is still active but I just can't bring myself to using them...

Apple Apple announces Aperture sunset date, suggests migration to Adobe Lightroom Classic or Apple Photos

That's my interpretation... that if you are planning on upgrading beyond Mojave when it's released then you'll lose being able to run Aperture but if you're already running Aperture and won't be upgrading then you should be OK. Aperture was discontinued by Apple back in 2014 so you may want to...

Apple Apple announces Aperture sunset date, suggests migration to Adobe Lightroom Classic or Apple Photos

If you're still using Apple's Aperture on your MacOS machines, even though Apple discontinued updating it back in 2014, you'll be facing an upgrade decision. MacOS Mojave will be the last version of the OS that will support running Aperture "for technical reasons". Apple's suggestion is to...
