More megapixels - What is all this talk about Crop

I've recently embraced cropping. I crop on a regular basis. I would have written this More megapixels - What is all this talk about Crop but Miguel already did. And he wrote it better than I could. When I "went digital" with 4/3 and then micro 4/3 I was presented with the 4:3 ratio which turns...

    How's Your Color Vision

On my crappy work monitor I got 0. I'm not sure how relevant it is though because I know one eye sees warmer than the the other. I'm never sure how others will see the images I edit.

    Sorting/Culling Conundrum

I don't use it. I was waiting for the database feature to be added but now would prefer a solution that's cross compatible with iPad. I know it's a favorite among sports and news photographers specifically for sorting and picking from thousands of photos at import time.

Advice Wanted Looking for Silver efex

Apple started the process of moving to 64 bit 10 years ago. There was plenty of notice for both users and developers. The app store has required 64 bit apps for years. Legacy software gets left behind eventually. Everything changes.

Advice Wanted Looking for Silver efex

32 bit apps are no longer supported and the free version of the NIK collection hasn't been updated for over 6 years. You may have to buy the current version from DXO.

    Apple Aperture Importing question

In Aperture, if you’re importing jpeg+raw you can have it set to stack them with either one “on top" or have them show up side by side. You can always process either one of them. The processing is lossless until export. If you process the jpeg you are starting with an already processed image...
