Indeed! It's frustratingly slow. Depends on what you shoot as well. I never shoot action, so it doesn't super matter. But for <200 euro it's too good of a deal.

I personally don't like it's bokeh, size and price. I think it can't compete with the Panasonic 20mm f1.7, a lens which has, imo, amazing rendering.

Same! I doubt it's going to happen though. Anything chonkier than the G100/G110 is a no for me.

Nice review! Part of me does think at +100g, it's perhaps time to just get a EM1 mk2 as its almost the same size and weight then. Would be cheaper too! Unless of course the oled EVF is the unique selling point for you.

The Olympus 40-150 R aka plastic fantastic. Just a great, super cheap lens. Has a bit of reach and can still do some portraiture. I've really been impressed with the Olympus e-pl8. Just an awesome camera body. Looks great. Built well. Handles fine. Super simple. All for ~170 ish euro. So yeah...

Speedmaster 25mm f0.95. I just really like this lens. It is very hard to focus, but it's very satisfying when you get it right!

I use m43 for documenting my kid mostly and some travel. Or when I want don't want to risk taking out my fuji gear. I also use my E-PL8 as a second cam with a more standard focal length, in case I have a tight portrait lens on the Fuji (which is most of the time). Also I know it's not 100%...

I like the lens a lot. Only problem for me is deciding when to use it.

I can safely say the P20 is the slowest autofocusing lens I have used. It is incredibly frustrating to capture quick/candid moments, wide open. For anything else, it's lovely.

Excuse my ignorance, why do you need bright primes if you shoot static scenery? I think f2.8 or f4 zooms + ibis would be much more flexible?

I find the P20's autofocus speed to be totally unacceptable. Sure the images are nice. But if the thing you want to image moves even a little, you are just going to be frustrated. I want my primes to be as flexible as possible, as we already have made some tradeoffs compared to mounting a zoom...
