Micro 4/3 GX8 announced. 20.3mp, DFD, 4k video, IBIS works with lens stabilization, dust/water resistant.

^ I think Sony would be joining their own party loll. that reminds me of something Philip Bloom said in his rather excellent review on the Sony FS7 - he says something about Sony taking on the competition by bringing something incredibly aggressive into the marketplace, though they're only...

^ no clue. that would be hard to say since there was nothing over 16mp to compare with. but it being their high-end camera, i'm sure lots of fashion and portrait folks will appreciate it, and pretty much those that want to print a little larger maybe? ^ though the sensor is a 4:3 ratio, the...

I prefer tilt over vari-angle as well especially for street photography. I guess video users will benefit more from the vari-angle OLED. you can change your ratio to 3:2 - that's how I shoot with my GX7 (16mp to 14mp). you'll lose some pixels, but at least you'll have 20mp to start from.

Micro 4/3 The official I don't want the LX100 thread

4K video is impressive especially for something that size that's more pocketable than any other camera with good video. i like that it's got manual controls like a Fuji. i'm just not into zooms especially for fixed lens cameras. it would have been sweet if the GM5 was an interchangeable lens...

maybe your settings just aren't right (ie: iso, max shutter, etc.) knowing what you liked, what made you get the fixed lens fuji in the first place? (Sent from my EVO via Tapatalk)

    Micro 4/3 Considering switching systems...

you're right - not as fast as the omd-em5, but it's accurate. and this thing can really see in low light. i can only imagine how much improvement future firmware could make it. it is still fairly new. i can't really compare to the nex-6 pdaf as my nex-7 was contrast. i never had an AF lens for...

    Micro 4/3 Considering switching systems...

or wait to see what the sony/oly (soly?) partnership produces. the fuji x-series definitely isn't really for speed - you take your time, adjust settings, compose, and click. you become a better photographer. and these cameras just make you want to photograph. my x-e1 & x100s are definitely...
