The first one that comes to hand (!) is the 50mm Summilux but I've softened the image quite a bit..... will keep looking!

It's warmish.... if you find some sun it gets hot but most of the time it's sweatshirt and jeans weather. The downside, the houses are not heated by and large and are made for the stifling heat of August and so inside the house is often colder than outside at night!

I'm using mine here in Spain and it's much brighter than home. Normally I'd be using aperture priority and auto iso but here I've started using shutter priority because as Ray said, the s/speed falls to 1/80th which isn't fast enough to capture people waking around.

I'll second that, I can manual focus all my lenses on the A7R so much more quickly than on the Leica M.

I like these, the colour is lovely. I use the Voightlander 35mm 1.2 II on my 7R but although it's large and heavy, it feels well balanced.

I've had mine for quite a while and have no plans to get rid of it:). It still has the wow factor above any other camera I have but I'm no pro so can't answer your question! Looking forward to seeing more of your photos though. Love that first one.

I learned to shoot manual on a Nikon D40 and became much more confident by just shooting anything and everything . Once you get past this stage it'll be much easier to discern what kind of subjects appeal to you and you'll have a better understanding of cameras and their limitations in general...

I like my 7R, only thing I don't like is the shutter noise it makes. Fine for normal daylight excursions but I don't think I could take a candid street shot with it. I also like the colour and auto white balance much better than my M240.

Thanks for that info. I always format the card in the camera after every use . I never use the movie except in error, maybe it does this on the odd occasion when I've managed to press record by mistake.

Sorry I can't help but I get this too from time to time, it's also takes the longest time to format a card as does the Sony A7R! I'm using a Mac and I wonder if this may be the problem ?
